Well it's gotten a bit cooler since this picture was taken. A light dusting of snow visited last night. Currently getting ready for Thanksgiving with our families. We'll be taking the train as an experiment. All the cost of flying combined with the time sink of driving!

Harper gave her first dance performance a few weeks ago.

It's 90 today and Jodi and the kids went hiking in the snow yesterday. Tee hee!

Spring time in the Rockies

Quite warm this weekend. We've been running around in our bare feet in the grass. Of course if it gets *too* warm then you can go jump in one of the lingering piles of snow....

Happy New Year!

We had a full house for Christmas. Jodi's parents and brother joined us for a nice white Christmas. Holden received every article of dinosaur gear ever made. And Harper received every article of faux kitchen ware ever made. So we've been eating a lot of dinosaur based meals since the holidays.

Jodi always complains that I pick the goofiest pictures on purpose, but this time Harper picked them all so blame/congratulate her.

Holden and Harper really got into Halloween this year. Holden was old enough and big enough to walk the whole way and it was warm enough (above freezing for a change) so that we could walk around without worrying about impending frost bite.

Our biggest recent change is the addition of our new cat Mariposa. She just sort of showed up a few weeks ago and chose us as her family. It seemed rude to refuse. And we didn't really have a choice.
